Yesterday was the first time that Ben and I attended a wedding together, with our three little people in tow.
Thankfully, they were mostly quiet and attentive during the ceremony, which was short and sweet and didn't leave too much time for disastrous outbursts on their part. Liam was a ticking time-bomb, but thankfully, we made it out in time! :).
I have been to a ton of weddings, and almost all of them have an adorable toddler who steals the show on the dance floor. Considering my disdain for dancing, I've spent a lot of weddings oohing and ahhing at that cute kid. Yesterday, that kid was mine (plus his equally adorable cousin Hadley), and he could not have been cuter! Liam is crazy-- he is either super anxious about situations or he owns them, and apparently he does not get dancing associated anxiety from his momma!
The wedding (and reception) was super sweet. My cousin and his new wife have been through a lot together already and I'm super excited to watch the next chapter of their happily ever after!
