The "Babies" being so sweet together!
The Mama's with their Big Girls
Me with my Crazy Kids at The Pirates House in Historic Savannah. Apparently it opened in 1735- pretty cool!
We took a mini-vacation to Savannah from Thursday-Monday to visit The Salley's and to explore the city! Cory and Ginny were great hosts and we really enjoyed hanging out! We did learn one life lesson for life with two babies--- we will have a separate room for both kids when travelling in the future!! For two kids that are used to falling asleep in a dark room in a crib with no one, falling asleep in a room with your sibling plus your parents in plain view was a challenge to say the least! Plus, Eli randomly decided he didn't like milk anymore (we later learned-- he likes it warm-- spoiled rotten!) But, during the day time hours, we had a great time and are really thankful for time spent with friends who we greatly miss!! We were able to go to Tybee Island twice (once to walk on the beach and around the town; once for dinner), Eli experienced ice cream for the first time, and boy did he love it! Every person that walked by had to stop and comment on how cute he was (covered in chocolate!). We did a riverboat tour of Savannah, walked around historic downtown with two double jogging strollers, picnicked at Forsyth Park, saw St. John the Baptist Cathedral, ate at The Pirate House, and hung out with our four kiddos at The Salleys house. More pictures to come-- these are the ones I stole from Ginny! :)
