A Quick Trip to Chattanooga

As Type A as Ben and I both are, we are also quite spontaneous sometimes.  Like last Friday night at 8 pm.  When we decided to pack the kiddos up and head to Chattanooga.  That night.  I actually decided and Ben agreed.  So, we made our reservation through Travelocity, got

our bags packed for the next day, put our kiddos in pj's and started our road trip an hour later.

We were there, checked into our hotel, and snuggled up in bed by 11:30 pm.  Our room overlooked the lit up city, which the kids and I were equally enthralled by!  Ben and Sydney slept great in their double bed.  I will just say that I got a lot of amazing snuggles from both of my boys.

We started our day at a cute doughnut shop that we never knew about, called Julie Darling Donuts.  Oh my yumminess!  Ben got a pancake and bacon donut.  The kids got the most sprinkley, Red Dye #40 filled donut they could find!  After we were all high on sugar, we headed to the Creative Discovery Museum.

They say a picture says 1,000 words, so I'm going to let our pictures tell the rest of our story.  As usual, the museum didn't disappoint, although, I can tell my children will outgrow it in a few years, which is sort of sad!
