Santa
This Saturday I finally convinced my hubby that we were going to go see Santa! Actually, he sad no and I told the kids we were going, and they convinced him! Who could say no to "Daddy, we're going to see SANTA!!" (Sydney) and "Santa! Guitar!" (Eli). I know, I know. It sounds terrible, but they were so cute, he admittedly enjoyed it!
We took them to Ashley Park in Newnan. We got there about 30 minutes early, hoping to at least be at the front of the line. Much to our excitement, Santa was already there, and taking pictures. And, there was only one kid in front of us! So, my kiddos didn't have time to get all anxious or agitated from the wait in line. Sydney was extremely brave and had no problem sitting in his lap. Eli would have much rather stayed in our arms, but obliged to sitting in his lap. He wouldn't tell him what he wanted though. He just sat and waited for his promised candy cane! Sydney told Santa she wanted a dolly and that her (silent) brother wanted a guitar and a bike (which is what he told us the whole. ride. there!) They both made a huge mess with their candy canes (Sorry if you get a sticky gift from Newnan's Belks.. that might be our fault!), and were very excited to tell everyone that they'd seen Santa! It was a fun day, and since it was drama-free Ben forgave me for dragging him there!
